Little Paisleys in a row

Was up late again last night...well near to dawn. I spent the time stitching. First chance I've had since I got home.

Today I tried my hand at dyeing thread for the first time. I wadded up a paper towel and set it in the middle of the plate and then covered it with plastic wrap. Then I placed my thread around the bump in the middle, that way all the dye doesnt run everywhere. I want a nice rainbow variegated thread so I mixed up my three primarys and let them blend.

Then I wrapped the plastic over the top of the thread to keep it moist overnight. Tomorrow we shall see what kind of results I get!
